Antimicrobial evaluation of novel substituted pyrimidinopyrazoles and pyrimidinotriazoles

Some novel substituted pyramidinopyrazoles and pyrimidinotriazoles have been synthesized by using 6-anisyl-5-cyan-2-hydrazine-3-N-methyl-3, 4-dihydropyrimidine4-one as the starting material. Structures of these compounds have been established by IR, 1 H NMR, Mass and elemental analysis data and have been evaluated for their antimicrobial activity. Significant antimi.crobial activity was observed for some members of these series.
